THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER OUTSTANDING SEASON!
A huge thank you to our volunteers, officials, sponsors and competitors for another outstanding show season!
We finished with a bang on August 8 & 9 hosting our final two Silver shows and our first ever Gold show. The weather was challenging but for the most part competitors were understanding as we attempted to regroup and complete the show with some sense of order!
We had a record number of spectators on hand to watch as Cindy Ishoy on Lone Star and Stephanie Jenson on Addiction competed in the Grand Prix on Saturday, it was inspiring to watch these ladies. On Sunday, Cindy splashed her way through the Grand Prix Special with great success, earning a rider “8” score! She is now an honourary member of the elite group who wear the Caledon Dressage “8” Awards shirts, sponsored by the Equestrian Factory Outlet. Other riders who earned an 8 shirt include Natasha Varga-Papp, Natalie Mezzapelli and Karen Ott. Congratulations!
Congratulations to our Best Western Team Challenge winners who battled it out for the entire season, right down to the last day:

CHANGES AT THE FAIRGROUNDS! PLEASE READ!
Thank you all competitors for a full June show. Based on the participation so far, this promises to be a great show season! Times are up, but please be sure to read the following:
Silver Entries: Due to the return to the two show format, many entries were incorrectly sent in on one entry form. Please be aware that when you check in, any short falls on entries paid will be collected at the time of check in. Thank you to all who sent in correctly completed entries (18 of 100+entries) for you I have a small token of appreciation!
Please note that there are significant changes occurring at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. They have broken ground for a new barn to the west of the existing barn in an area that has typically been used for parking. If you are bringing a truck and trailer, you may unload in front of the barns if you arrive Friday (after 3:00pm) and park in the east gravel parking lot. If you arrive on Saturday or Sunday, trailer parking will be at the far end of the grass area, past the outdoor warm up. There may be limited car parking closer to the barn.
The outdoor grass warm up, lunging and bronze show ring area is also under construction and is not available at this time. The Bronze show will be run in the sand rings on Sunday afternoon. Outdoor warm up is now in a fenced area on the grass to the west of the rings in an area traditionally used as parking and a lunging area will be designated near by.
Camper hookups are on the east side of the facility this year, not the west as in prior years.
Thank you for your patience with respect to the changes to the facility.
